The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced its 40th Annual Conference will feature workshops under Track One on “Capacity Building for Hispanic-Serving Institutions and Emerging HSIs.” More than 50 workshops addressing the theme, “40 Years of Championing Higher Education Success: One Graduate at a Time,” will be offered across seven tracks. The conference will be held Oct. 31-Nov. 2, 2026, at the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center, in Chula Vista, California.
The following workshop topics will be presented under Track One:

- Assess and Grow Your Campus Research Enterprise – the VOLARÉ Toolkit
- From Vision to Scale: Building AI Capacity Across the CSU

- En Comunidad: A Framework for Engaging Latinx Alumni Across the UCs
- Why Are You Even Here? Capacity Building for E-HSIs
- Rebuilding HSI STEM Efforts & Renewing the HSI Mission
- Equitable Career Readiness by Design: A Fresno State College Corps Model
