When you join the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) you become part of a network of over 400 colleges and universities that have said “yes” to championing higher education success.
Launched in 2006, the HSSD affiliation was started in order to address the many challenges facing both higher education and K-12 in recruiting, retaining, and graduating Hispanic students. The goal is to have HACU-member colleges and universities collaborate with HSSDs in an effort to frame, develop and carry out new and innovative initiatives that benefit their respective student populations and significantly increase student success.
HACU establishes strategic alliances with other organizations and corporations to offer services and benefits to administrators, faculty, staff and student at our member institutions. These range from enhancing teaching methods, building diverse communities, to individual lifestyle benefits.
