Recognizing Hispanic-Serving Institutions Week: September 14-20, 2026

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced National Hispanic-Serving Institutions Week will be observed September 14-20, 2026.

This week provides an opportunity to highlight Hispanic-Serving Institutions and their role in serving students and communities, with educational opportunities preparing a skilled workforce and supporting local economies.

HACU-member HSIs are encouraged to observe the week with activities heightening awareness of how HSIs improve access to education and advance opportunity for all students. Students, alumni, faculty, and community partners can also contribute by sharing their stories on how HSIs made a difference in their lives.

Recognize and amplify National HSIs Week and Tag @HACUNews on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Threads and use hashtag #HSIsWeek. Or email HACU at news@hacu.net to share your stories and let the Association know what your institution has planned in celebration of the week.
