HACU’s 40th Annual Conference to feature workshops on teaching and learning

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced its 40th Annual Conference will feature topics under Track Two on “Teaching and Learning.” More than 50 workshops addressing the theme, “40 Years of Championing Higher Education Success: One Graduate at a Time,” will be offered across seven tracks. The conference will be held Oct. 31-Nov. 2, 2026, at the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center, in Chula Vista, California,.

The following workshop topics will be presented under Track Two:

  • Regional K-16 Collaboratives: Building Seamless Partnerships from Education to Workforce
  • Leveraging Your Institutional Research Team: Partners in Advancing Student Success
  • Two Paradigms, Contested Classrooms: The Roots of Higher Education’s Pedagogical Divides
  • VICKS it. Validate, Identify, Connect, Knowledge, and Support Latinx/Hispanic students’ mental health to prevent suicide
  • Your Signature: Critical Thinking and Creativity in the AI Era
  • Empowering Hispanic Students Through Leadership Development and Early College Access
