Trustee Affiliate

The Trustee Affiliate is an individual membership affiliation with HACU that includes board and trustee members from member and nonmember nonprofit colleges and universities, and K-12 school districts.  On April 24, 2017, the HACU Governing Board approved an initiative to further engage college/university/K-12 trustees in HACU’s ongoing work to promote Hispanic student success in education. Our Trustee Affiliates discuss issues pertinent to Hispanic higher education, diversity and equity at their institutions, and the promotion of HACU student services and programs at their institutions.

Trustee Affiliates are critical advocates at their institutions and help administrators engage in advocacy and other activities such as the dissemination of information about scholarships, internships, grant opportunities, leadership programs and other important services offered through HACU.
