HACU Webinar: Utilizing Civic Engagement as a Means for Career Readiness

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities will host a webinar titled, “Utilizing Civic Engagement as a Means for Career Readiness,” on July 22, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. CT. To register, click here.

The webinar will focus on how civic engagement can enhance career development by offering opportunities to learn new skills, expand networks, and gain experience. Specifically, participating in civic-based activities can help students acquire the skills that employers most seek. All of these skills can be developed in students through civic learning and engagement opportunities.

The webinar will be presented by Maria Alejandro, program director for the center for civic and community-engaged leadership at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and Stephanie King, senior director of strategic initiatives for the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge.

This webinar is being offered as part of the Student Affairs Summer Webinar Series.
