HACU Webinar: Current Challenges Facing Academic Leaders

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is hosting a webinar titled, “Current Challenges Facing Academic Leaders,” for HACU-members, on Feb. 5, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. CT.

The webinar will provide information about how colleges and universities are facing daunting challenges, including a growing sentiment that academic institutions are failing to provide sufficient value compared to the cost of tuition – commonly referred to as the value proposition. Academic leaders are also grappling with the impact that artificial intelligence will have on both course delivery and leadership, perhaps making AI more daunting than the distance education revolution.

The presenters will be Esther Gergen, Ph.D., professor of leadership studies at Our Lady of the Lake University, and Mark Green, Ph.D., professor of leadership studies at Our Lady of The Lake University.

This webinar is being offered as part of the HACU-member webinar series. To register, click here.
