HACU National Internship Program interns begin spring session

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities welcomed college students to the 2026 spring session of the HACU National Internship Program with a webinar orientation on Jan. 7, 2026. Selected interns are serving across federal agencies in Washington, D.C., and field offices nationwide. Interns will serve for 15 weeks as part of the summer internship session.

A welcome was given by Executive Director of HNIP Diana Vasquez, followed by a keynote address by Adriana Piñero Torres, an administrative assistant at Braxton Puerto Rico.

HACU is accepting applications for the 2026 summer internship session. Internship dates are June 1 – Aug. 7, 2026. Applications will be accepted until Feb. 13, 2026. Information about eligibility and online applications is available here.
