Application deadline extended for the Enlace Mid-Level Leadership Program

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced applications are being accepted for the Enlace Mid-Level Leadership program. The program is a six-month development experience for college and university professionals serving at the mid-level of their organizations. Academic leaders or non-academic support personnel serving in higher education institutions are encouraged to apply. The Application deadline has been extended to June 5, 2026.

The program covers areas such as academic and student affairs management, regional institutional accreditation, effective data utilization, and higher education advocacy. Participants will also interact with professional search firm partners.

A September orientation session will be followed by an in-person session prior to HACU’s 40th Annual Conference, October 31 – November 2, 2026, in Chula Vista, California. Participants attend the conference as part of the program requirements, and complete eight interactive virtual sessions as part of the program. The final in-person session takes place in Washington, D.C., where participants also attend the National Capitol Forum on Higher Education to be held April 6-7, 2027.

Information on the program, cost and application process are available on HACU’s website. Applications and nominations can be made here. A limited number of scholarships are available.
