The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced the students that have been selected for its Leader-in-Residence Program. A total of 50 college students from HACU-member institutions nationwide were selected to participate in the program.
The students selected will attend the ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute on Nov. 1-3, 2024, as part of the student track of HACU’s 38th Annual Conference, “Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Reaching New Heights of Excellence and Equity,” taking place in Aurora, Colorado.
As part of the HACU Leader-in-Residence Program, students will serve as a resource on their campus to provide information about HACU internships, scholarships, and advocacy efforts and opportunities. They will work with a mentor from their home institution to help guide them on campus outreach efforts.
