HACU Webinar: Promoting Peace, Respect, and Freedom of Belief

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities will host the HACU-member webinar “Promoting Peace, Respect, and Freedom of Belief,” on Aug. 20, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. CT. To register, click here.

This interactive webinar will highlight innovative educational practices and explore opportunities for global collaboration, including research partnerships, faculty exchanges, and student engagement initiatives. Participants will gain practical strategies and new connections to help transform dialogue into meaningful action.

The webinar will be presented by:

  • Elie Cedrick Niyonkuru, director in charge of education for Associated Schools, UNESCO Clubs, and Youth
  • Freddy Mutanguha, CEO of the Aegis Trust and director of the Kigali Genocide Memorial
  • Sanna Lukander, founder and CCO, Fun Learning Ambassador
  • James G. O’Meara, Ed.D., dean of global and community engagement at Texas A&M International University.
