HACU’s 40th Annual Conference to feature workshops on federal and state advocacy, policy and research

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced its 40th Annual Conference addresses topics under Track Five on “Federal and State Advocacy, Policy and Research.” More than 50 workshops that address the theme, “40 Years of Championing Higher Education Success: One Graduate at a Time,” will be offered across seven tracks. The conference will be held Oct. 31-Nov. 2, 2026, at the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center, in Chula Vista, California.

The following topics will be presented under Track Five:

  • HACU Government Relations Briefing
  • Advocacy Begins with Us: How HSI Students Shape Policy Initiatives
  • Immigration Issues Impacting HSIs: Policy, Advocacy, and Research
  • Higher Education Legal Update for HSIs
