Applications for the VOLARÉ Institute’s third cohort now being accepted

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is accepting applications for the third cohort of its Visioning, Organizing, Leading, and Advancing the Research Enterprise Institute (VOLARÉ), a yearlong research capacity building program for Institutions of Higher Education.

Applications for the cohort, which begins in fall 2026, will be accepted through July 15, 2026.

The Institute focuses on strengthening research development and pre-award capacity activities. The program aims to broaden participation in STEM by helping administrative leaders, staff, and faculty develop research initiatives through needs assessments and collaborative action plans.

Programming includes virtual and in-person sessions, a research enterprise financial model workshop, institutional assessments, consortium-building opportunities, peer mentoring communities, and support for developing action plans and timelines.

Information about the program and application process is available here.

The VOLARÈ Institute supported by the National Science Foundation under Grant #2342147.
