Recognizing Hispanic-Serving Institutions Week: September 8–14, 2025

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced National Hispanic-Serving Institutions Week will be observed September 8 – 14, 2025.

This is a key opportunity to highlight the essential role Hispanic-Serving Institutions play in serving students and their communities by sustaining educational opportunity, preparing a skilled workforce, and supporting local economies.

HACU-member HSIs are encouraged to observe the week with campus activities to heighten awareness of the important role HSIs play in improving access to education and advancing equity for traditionally underserved students.

Students, alumni, faculty, and community partners can share how HSIs have made a difference in their lives. Share Your HSI Story online via HACU’s Advocacy Center.

Recognize and amplify National HSIs Week and Tag @HACUNews on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Threads and use hashtag #HSIsWeek. Or email HACU at news@hacu.net to share your stories and to let the Association know what your institution has planned.
