HACU National Internship Program hosts celebration for summer interns with virtual ceremony

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities celebrated its 2025 summer interns with a virtual ceremony on Aug. 7, 2025. The participants were undergraduate and graduate students who served internships with federal agencies across the country, as part of the HACU National Internship Program.

Associate Director of HNIP and Strategic Initiatives Andres Burgos welcomed and congratulated the interns on completing their internship.

The HNIP Champion Award was presented. This award is given to HNIP host supervisors or agency partners who have displayed outstanding partnership with HNIP. It recognizes individuals who have received positive feedback from interns regarding their experiences under their supervision.

HACU is accepting applications for the 2026 spring internship session. Internship dates are Jan. 5 – April 17, 2026. Applications will be accepted until Oct. 10, 2025. Information about eligibility and online application is available here.
