Selected Voces Nuevas participants can apply for sponsorships to attend HACU conferences:

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) Voces Nuevas (New Voices) is a competitive program for 75 students from HACU-member institutions across the U.S. and Puerto Rico to receive leadership, advocacy and career development training.

This 8-month program provides students the opportunity to develop leadership and advocacy skills while serving as HACU ambassadors promoting the Association’s programs.

Selected participants of the Voces Nuevas Program will have the opportunity to apply for sponsorship to attend the ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute, the Student Track of HACU’s Annual Conference and HACU’s Annual National Capitol Forum on Higher Education.

Applications will be accepted until June 12, 2026

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be committed to:

  • Complete the Leadership and Career Development modules in Talent LMS
  • Participate in all career development sessions throughout the program
  • Coordinate and execute a minimum of two HACU information sessions.
  • Presentation slides for information sessions will be provided by HACU staff
