HACU National Internship Program bids farewell to spring interns with virtual ceremony

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities bid farewell to its 2025 spring interns with a virtual ceremony held on April 17, 2025. The participants were undergraduate and graduate students who served internships with federal agencies across the country, as part of the HACU National Internship Program.

Associate Director of HNIP and Strategic Initiatives Andres Burgos welcomed and congratulated the interns on completing their internship. A keynote address was given by former HNIP intern Julio Martinez, who served as an Internal Auditor for JPMorgan Chase.

The HNIP Champion Award was presented to Sherry Panzer. This award is given to HNIP host supervisors or agency partners who have displayed outstanding partnership with HNIP. It recognizes individuals who have received positive feedback from interns regarding their experiences under their supervision.

Approximately 155 students participated in these internships for a total of 15 weeks, as part of HACU’s National Internship Program.

HACU is accepting applications for the 2025 fall internship session. Internship dates are Sept. 1 – Dec. 12, 2025. Applications will be accepted until July 15, 2025. Information about eligibility and online application is available here.
