HACU Webinar: Own your Place & Take Up Space: Releasing imposter phenomenon in professional settings

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities will host a webinar titled, “Own your Place & Take Up Space: Releasing imposter phenomenon in professional settings,” for HACU-members, on April 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. CT. To register, click here.

The webinar will focus on engaging participants in exploring why imposter phenomenon exists, and how it impacts their career journey, personal experiences, and mental health. Participants will learn strategies to combat catastrophizing, navigate rejections, and manage stress and anxiety within professional settings while gaining a deeper understanding of who they are and identify the truths about their unique strengths, intelligences, and accomplishments.

The webinar will be presented by Mabel Terrero, a mental health clinician at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, and Parastoo Massoumi, a consultant and program manager with the Steve Fund.

This webinar is being offered as part of the HACU-member webinar series.
