HACU and UNIBE Costa Rica’s Galeno program provides students a pathway to become well-rounded, bicultural physicians. Students enter a comprehensive program to earn a medical degree in just five years and four months, with day one hands-on training providing immediate real-world clinical experience.  

 The five-year, four-month program features global clinical rotations with student access to opportunities in the U.S., Europe, and Central and South America. Student support services provide personalized guidance throughout the program. A bilingual curriculum has students practice in both English and Spanish. No MCAT or premed required, but any earned premed credits may be applied upon acceptance.
