HACU’s 39th Annual Conference to feature workshops on teaching and learning

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced its 39th Annual Conference will feature topics on “Teaching and Learning,” under track two. More than 50 workshops that address the theme, “Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Forging Transformational Leaders to Uplift Democracy and Prosperity,” will be offered in seven tracks. The Conference will be held at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center, in Aurora, Colorado, Nov. 1-3, 2025, along with pre-conference events.

The following are the workshop topics to be presented under Track Two – Teaching and Learning:

  • From Classroom to Campus: Bilingualism as a Catalyst for Change
  • Faculty Learning Communities: Transformative teaching, scholarship, and student impact.
  • Rethinking Remedial Math: Different Approaches for Student Success
  • Summer Programs As A Way to Transform STEM Student Habits
  • Expanding Experiential Learning: High-Impact Practices for Latinx Student Success at HSIs
  • Transformational Micro-Internships for Early Momentum to Success into STEM Pathways
  • Generation FINN: Empowering Dual Enrollment Students
