- Deliver in-depth policy analyses and reports on critical and emerging issues impacting higher education and HSIs.
- Strengthen HACU Government Relations advocacy efforts, including targeted regional policy initiatives.
- Build a robust information hub that serves as a central resource for data and policy insights on higher education.
- Foster collaboration with university faculty, research scholars, and educational organizations to identify, promote, and share high-impact practices that elevate higher education outcomes.

HACU List of Hispanic-Serving Institutions
The Higher Education Act defines HSIs as not-for-profit colleges and universities where at least 25% of the full-time equivalent (FTE) undergraduate enrollment is Hispanic (see HSI Definition for more information).
