HACU announces recipients of the MGM Resorts International Scholarship

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced the recipients of the MGM Resorts International Scholarship recipients for the 2024-25 school year. Seventeen students attending HACU-member institutions will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Student recipients are:

  • Cynthia V. - California State University, Monterey Bay
  • Demetryi B. - Cypress College
  • Joseph A. - Marymount University
  • Steven R. - Marymount University
  • Grace V. - Montclair State University
  • Martin M. - Northern Illinois University
  • Zylia K. - Regis University
  • Gabriella S. - Regis University
  • Lailah D. - San Diego State University
  • Alicia M. - San Diego State University
  • Juniper D. - San Francisco State University
  • Brian S. - Susquehanna University
  • Diego M. - Susquehanna University
  • Sandra A. - The University of Texas at San Antonio
  • Jorge H. - The University of Texas at San Antonio
  • Golam Y. - The University of Texas at San Antonio

The MGM Resorts International Scholarship is funded by MGM Resorts International, and is part of the 2024-25 HACU Scholarship Program. Recipients are selected by HACU through its independent review process.



  

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, founded in 1986, represents more than 500 colleges and universities in the United States, Latin America, Spain, and school districts throughout the U.S. HACU programs and services are available to all students, faculty, and staff at HACU-member institutions.
