HACU accepting Ford Philanthropy Scholarship applications

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has partnered with Ford Philanthropy to award scholarships to eligible undergraduate and graduate students at HACU-member institutions. A total of nine ($10,000) Ford Philanthropy Scholarships will be awarded.

The Ford Philanthropy Scholarships are available to students who meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Open to students majoring in the following:
  • Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Data Science.
  • Students must be currently enrolled and have completed at least one semester at a 2-year or 4-year HACU-member institution in the U.S. or Puerto Rico.
  • Open to undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Must be enrolled full-time.
  • Minimum college GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).

Must also submit a 250-500-word essay, describing how you plan to leverage your degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Data Science to develop critical Future of Work skills and contribute to a positive impact on society.
