HACU's 38th Annual Conference to feature workshops on student engagement and success

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced its 38th Annual Conference will feature topics in “Student Engagement and Success,” under track three. More than 50 workshops that address the theme, "Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Reaching New Heights of Excellence and Equity," will be offered in seven tracks. The Conference will be held at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center, Nov. 1-3, 2024, in conjunction with pre-conference events.

The following are the workshop topics to be presented under Track Three - Student Engagement and Success:

  • Rompiendo Barreras: Partnering to Impact the Transfer Experience of Hispanic Students in the State of Texas
  • HACU National Internship Program Workshop: The Future is Now
  • Navigating Ways to Uplift Nonpartisan Student Political Participation at HSIs
  • Dream Builders: Empowering Student Success through Fund Sueños
  • Innovative Programing and Partnerships Leading to Student Success
  • Bilingual Excellence: Strengthening College-Going Pipeline with English-Spanish TV
  • Fostering College Success through Testimonios and Family College Knowing Workshops
  • Digital Dreamers: Fostering Support for Undergraduate Latinx Students Enrolled in Online Programs
