HACU, Ford Fund announce scholarship recipients

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced the Ford Fund scholarship recipients for the 2023-24 school year. Thirteen students attending HACU-member institutions will receive a $5,000 scholarship.

Students submitted a 500-word essay describing how this award will allow them to stay in school.

Student recipients are:

  • Mariangel F. - California State University, San Bernardino
  • Yukie A. - Central New Mexico Community College
  • Paola H. - Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science
  • Ana B. - Florida Atlantic University
  • Luis A. - Lamar University
  • Nolan G. - Montgomery College
  • Maria A. - New Mexico State University
  • Maria S. - The University of New Mexico
  • Perla P. - The University of Texas at Austin
  • Karina M. - University of California, Davis
  • Nadia C. - University of California, San Diego
  • Andrea S. - University of Central Florida
  • Maria G. - University of Central Florida

The Ford Fund scholarships are part of the 2023-24 HACU Scholarship Program.
