HACU accepting applications for virtual Emerging Leaders’ Summit, Sept 8, 2023
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is accepting applications from undergraduate and graduate students to participate in a virtual Emerging Leaders’ Summit on Sept. 8, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. MT, in partnership with The University of Arizona. Students enrolled at HACU-member institutions in the Tucson area are encouraged to apply.
Area institutions are below:
- Cochise College
- Pima Community College
- University of Arizona
- Utah Valley University
- Weber State University
The one-day Summit will include career development workshops designed for students of all majors with a minimum 2.75 GPA. Workshop topics will focus on career opportunities, tips for resume writing, interviewing and securing internships. Students will also have a chance to meet with corporate and federal employers in attendance.
Two participants will receive sponsorships to attend the 2023 HACU ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute at the Hilton Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. (Includes event registration, airfare, lodging, and some meals).
