Hispanics In Energy, a HACU partner, member and supporter invites HACU-members to a historic Hispanic Energy STEM-focused virtual event co-hosted with the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, D.C. The U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm will be participating in the event.
The virtual event will highlight presentations from the U.S. Secretary of Energy and Department of Energy leaders, members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores, CEOs and leaders from all-the-above energy companies, state utility commissions, and public regulators, who will address equity and inclusion of Hispanics in STEM education and all segments of the energy transition.
HIE and HACU are developing pathways for Hispanic Americans to become energy STEM leaders and professionals through education, workforce preparation, internships, and grant opportunities. This virtual event is a leap into engagement and inclusion in America’s $2.8 trillion dollar industry.
