HACU hosts Emerging Leaders event with San Jose State University

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities hosted an Emerging Leaders' Summit on April 3, 2023, on the campus of San Jose State University. The event brought together over 100 students from colleges and universities with professionals and corporate representatives to learn more about career opportunities, tips for resume writing, interviewing, and securing internships.

Corporate partners that held career preparation workshops and panels included: Adobe, Career Launch, Fidelity, Kia America, Inc, LinkedIn, Palo Alto Networks and Workday.

Students from the following institutions were among the participants.

  • San Francisco State University
  • San Jose State University

The next Emerging Leaders’ Summit will take place virtually on June 15, 2023, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. CDT. The online event is being presented in partnership with New Jersey City University.
