The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is sharing an update on behalf of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA): the deadline for grant applications has been extended to June 3, 2022.
This opportunity will award $1.8 million in grants to develop entrepreneurship programs for students at Minority Serving Institutions, including Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs). The goal of the program is to lay the foundation for a future generation of entrepreneurial leaders and innovators that will strengthen U.S. global competitiveness, job creation, and the overall U.S. economy.
