HACU, Denny’s accepting scholarship applications

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is partnering with the Denny’s Corporation to offer Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarships to eligible undergraduate and graduate students. HACU is one of the leading nonprofit organizations partnering to offer scholarships to students that share their ideas and can contribute to the company’s goal of ending childhood hunger in local communities. Students at HACU-member institutions can apply for one of the five ($2,000) Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarships to be awarded.

The Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarship is available to students in all majors who meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Be a full-time graduate or undergraduate student
  • Must be attending a HACU-member institution
  • GPA: 2.5 or higher
  • Open to U.S. citizens or permanent residents
  • Applicant must submit a 500-word essay about how Denny's can help bring communities together. If notified of selection, scholarship recipients are required to submit a head shot electronically to HACU for Denny’s press purposes.
