Fulbright HSI Leaders recognized at HACU’s 36th Annual Conference

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities congratulates the 2022 Fulbright Hispanic-Serving Institutions Leaders, recognized at its 36th Annual Conference on Oct. 10, 2022. U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Deputy Assistant Secretary for Academic Programs Ethan Rosenzweig announced the 43 Fulbright HSI Leaders during the International Plenary. 

The initiative is part of the U.S. State Department’s long-standing commitment to continue to build diversity and inclusion within the Fulbright Program and all the Bureau’s international exchange programs. 

In his remarks, Rosenzweig noted the strong relationship between HSIs and the Fulbright Program stating, “The Fulbright Program’s success with HSIs is built on real collaboration with you and your institutions.” He thanked HSI leaders for their collaboration and for recognizing the value of the Fulbright Program in deepening campus internationalization efforts; and he recognized Fulbright campus liaisons and advisors for recruiting and advising applicants.
