The Fulbright Program will host a virtual symposium for HACU members on Wednesday, April 27, 3:00-5:00 PM EDT. This public workshop will discuss Fulbright opportunities and resources for Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs). The symposium is open to all faculty, staff, and stakeholders, as well as individuals from other institutions who are interested in attending. Representatives from the Fulbright Program will spotlight the unique role Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) students, faculty, and administrators play in representing American higher education both domestically and internationally.
Attendees will learn information about best practices for engaging with the Fulbright Program. Institutions can take advantage of the following programs to further improve the student experience and degree outcomes and offer developmental opportunities for faculty and staff:
• Sending U.S. Students, Scholars, and Specialists abroad and hosting Foreign Students
