President Biden released his six-pronged COVID-19 Action Plan on September 9, 2021 to combat COVID-19 and recently signed an Executive Order that outlines vaccine requirements to employees of contractors that do business with the federal government. Additionally, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration is developing a mandate that will require all employers with 100 or more employees to be fully vaccinated or require any workers who remain unvaccinated to test negative for COVID-19 before coming to work on a weekly basis.

Mary Wall, senior policy advisor for the White House COVID-19 Response Team will provide a detailed overview of the Action Plan. This briefing is an invitation-only event, intended only for HSI member institution administrators receiving this email.

Please submit your questions to HACU Government Relations staff at dcgr@hacu.net by Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 2 p.m. EDT/11 a.m. PDT. This briefing will be off-the-record, and there will be no recording of the meeting.
