HACU announces speakers of 10th Annual Deans’ Forum on Hispanic Higher Education  

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced the agenda and speakers of its 10th Annual Deans’ Forum on Hispanic Higher Education taking place virtually, 11:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. CDT, Oct. 28, 2021. The Deans’ Forum offers deans from colleges and universities across the country an opportunity to dialogue on the state of Hispanic higher education at their campuses.

Speakers and discussions will focus on the theme, "Deans as Transformative Agents: Improving Hispanic Graduation Rates, Fundraising and Industry Partnerships.” The Deans’ Forum will include a keynote presentation from Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval, Ph.D., president of California State University, Fresno, followed by a panel and concluding with a group discussion. 

Panelists will include Jennifer L. Rosato Perea, J.D., dean and professor of law at DePaul University - College of Law, Charles R. Martinez, Ph.D., dean of the School of Education at The University of Texas at Austin and Derek McGowan, head of talent pathways & partnerships at Google.
