HACU accepting applications from college students for Emerging Leaders Summit virtual event, September 16, 2021

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is accepting applications from students to participate in an Emerging Leaders Summit to be held virtually on September 16, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. PDT. The online event is being held in partnership with the College of Southern Nevada and is open to students enrolled at a HACU-member institution, located in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. (See list below.) Extended online application deadline is September 25, 2021.

The one-day virtual Summit includes career development workshops designed for students majoring in STEM, accounting, business, finance, communications and marketing programs with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Workshop topics will focus on career opportunities, tips for resume writing, interviewing, and securing internships. Students will also have an opportunity to meet with corporate and federal employers in attendance. Click here for the application.

Five participants will receive scholarships to attend the 2021 HACU ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute (Student Track) of HACU’s 35th Annual Conference. This Student Track takes place virtually, October 24-27, 2021.
