HACU National Internship Program welcomes summer session interns

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities welcomed college students selected to participate in its 10-week summer internship session. Over 175 students were accepted to HACU’s National Internship Program. All summer interns will work remotely in federal internships.

During a virtual orientation on June 3, 2021, HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores, welcomed participants of the summer program. Student had an opportunity to hear from staff about the internship program. Veronica De La Garza, former intern and director of governmental relations for the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, spoke about her own internship experience with program.  

The following agencies in the Washington, D.C., metro area and field offices throughout the country are among those providing these virtual internship opportunities to students:
