Miller Lite to award Hispanic students over $190,000 in scholarships for college, participation to HACU’s ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is partnering with Miller Lite to award a total of 63 scholarships to eligible undergraduate students enrolled at HACU-member institutions in select cities and select HACU-member institutions. Fifty-five scholarships of $2,500 will be awarded to eligible college students in select cities, in the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New York, Texas, Wisconsin, and Puerto Rico. Eight scholarships of $5,000 will be awarded to eligible college students in Houston, Texas.

In addition to the scholarships, some recipients will also receive a scholarship to attend HACU’s ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute, the student track offered in conjunction with HACU’s Annual Conference. Miller Lite will be offering a total of 72 scholarships for the ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute.

Below is the eligibility criteria for all scholarships and the number of scholarships to be awarded in each location:

  • Full-time or Part-time undergraduate students
  • Must be attending a two-year or four-year HACU-Member institution in a select city for the award.
  • Open to all majors
  • GPA: 2.5 or higher
  • U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, DACA
  • Must be 21 years or older

Miller Lite – $2,500/$5,000 Scholarships

  • University of Houston (4) $5,000
  • Houston Community College (4) $5,000
  • University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (6) $2,500
  • Texas A&M International in Laredo (6) $2,500
  • University of Texas at Arlington, University of Texas at Dallas, Dallas Community College System *Richland, El Centro, Brookhaven (6) $2,500
  • Chicago, IL (6) $2,500
  • Puerto Rico (1) $2,500
  • Milwaukee (6) $2,500
  • Colorado (6) $2,500
  • New York (6) $2,500
  • Miami (6) $2,500
  • Los Angeles (6) $2,500
