HACU and Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarships for 2021-22

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is partnering with the Denny’s Corporation to offer Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarships. HACU is one of the leading nonprofit organizations partnering to offer scholarships to students that share their ideas and can contribute to the company’s goal of ending childhood hunger in local communities. Students at HACU-member institutions can apply for one of the five ($2,000) Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarships to be awarded.

Students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Be a full or part-time undergraduate or graduate student attending a two-year or four-year HACU-member institution.  
  • Open to all majors.  
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.  
  • Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.  
  • Applicant must submit a 500-word essay about how Denny's can help bring communities together. If notified of selection, scholarship recipients are required to submit a head shot electronically to HACU for Denny’s press purposes.

The Denny's Hungry for Education Scholarships is part of the 2021-22 HACU Scholarship Program.
