Application deadline extended for HACU National Internship Program spring session

 

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities National Internship Program is accepting applications from college students for the spring 2021 session. The spring internship program dates are Jan. 7 - April 23, 2021. Extended online application deadline is Nov. 16, 2020.

Applications for paid internship positions within the following agencies are being accepted: Center for Disease Control, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Library of Congress, National Institutes of Health Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, U.S. Agency for International Development, U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Department of Agriculture.

College majors in the following areas are in high demand:

The HACU National Internship Program has previously worked with agencies to offer virtual internships due to COVID-19 and will continue to adapt the internship program as needed to offer these important career development experiences for college students.

Federal internship sessions are for 15-weeks during the spring program. The location of internships are at federal agencies in Washington, D.C. and field offices nationwide. Federal interns also participate in an orientation prior to the start of their internship.

Program Details:

  • Round-trip airfare to intern location included.
  • Housing arrangement assistance.
  • Intern weekly stipends: Graduates: $680 Undergraduates: $610 - stipends determined by academic level at the time of application.
  • Professional development, social, and cultural activities.
