HACU and Ford Motor Company Fund announce Ford Fund COVID-19 College Grant recipients

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities and the Ford Motor Company Fund have announced the recipients of the Ford Fund COVID-19 College Grant for college students needing emergency relief due to the current crisis. The $500 grants are for one-time relief assistance.

Over 3,000 eligible students from HACU-member Hispanic-Serving Institutions who demonstrated needs in the categories of food, housing transportation and technology applied for the Ford Fund COVID-19 College Grants.

The awardees were selected from students across the nation who submitted essays explaining their resilience and strength in the face of the pandemic crisis and how they would use the funds for food, housing, transportation, or technology.
