The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities National Internship Program welcomed more than 70 of its 2020 fall interns with a virtual orientation on Sept. 3, 2020, for college students serving virtual internships. All fall HNIP internships are being held remotely as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A welcome was given by HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores, followed by remarks by the HNIP staff regarding the internship program. Three program alumni also addressed the interns and discussed their internship experiences.
The following agencies in the Washington, D.C., metro area and field offices throughout the country are among those providing these virtual internship opportunities to students:
