The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities and American Student Assistance welcomed more than 125 students to the Ascending Leaders Forums, on March 4, 2020, at The University of Arizona. The Ascending Leaders Forum is an initiative to promote staff diversity in senior leadership positions at colleges and universities.
The one-day Forums are designed for high school students to gain a better understanding of career opportunities available at colleges and universities, beyond traditional teaching. Students hear from presenters, meet with representatives from admissions, financial aid and career services offices, and meet college students to learn about student life. A campus tour is included.
