HACU National Internship Program welcomes spring interns

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities welcomed its 2020 spring interns with an orientation on Jan. 7, for college students serving internships in the Washington, D.C., metro area and field offices throughout the country.

Over 100 students will gain federal workforce experience working with professionals at federal departments and agencies for the next 15 weeks, as part of HACU’s National Internship Program.

The students will intern at the following agencies:

  • Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
  • Library of Congress
  • U.S. Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Research Service; Food and Nutrition Service; Forest Service; Natural Resources Conservation Service
  • U.S. Department of Commerce - U.S. Census Bureau
  • U.S. Department of Health and Human Services - National Institutes of Health - Clinical Center; Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration

HACU is accepting applications for summer internships that run from May 28 - Aug. 7, 2020 (Regular Session). A later start date is available only for applicants who attend institutions that operate on a quarter calendar. Internship dates: June 10 - Aug. 21, 2020 (Quarter Session).
